How do you determine what to charge for services and if/when you need to raise rates?

Logan’s Pool Service
Gunter, Texas
Many variables determine our service rate: pool design, gallon size, landscape and equipment, to name a few. One of the most important assets that we have is our strict inventory management system. This helps us eliminate over-purchasing, waste and non charges. As a result, our prices and profitability remain consistent. We also do market research every two years to determine how our service rates compare to our competitors and adjust accordingly to align with where we want to be.

Coastal Pure
North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
At Coastal Pure, our pricing reflects the quality, consistency and expertise we bring to every pool we service. As a full-service commercial pool company, we base our service rates primarily on the size of the pool and the number of days it’s open during the season. Our product pricing is typically below retail since we operate without a brick-and-mortar storefront, allowing us to pass those savings on to our customers.
While we may not be the cheapest pool company in North Myrtle Beach, we focus on delivering the best value. We stand apart by sending two trained technicians to every pool — every time — to ensure thorough, reliable service and consistent results.
We review our pricing structure periodically, and rates may adjust when demand outpaces our ability to maintain the level of service our customers expect. This helps us protect quality and invest in the tools, training and talent that keep pools in top condition.
