Question: Tell me a little bit about IntelliVibe™ Pool Lighting System software update and why that’s a hot topic right now.
Reid: The update you’ve been hearing about enables full IntelliVibe Lighting functionality with only an IntelliVibe Controller and the Pentair Pool app, no longer requiring an IntelliCenter® Pool Control System — it’s done through a software update in the app, which means there’s no impact to existing product that’s in inventory.
The IntelliVibe system’s reception has been amazing, so this update was made to allow more pool owners to enjoy its benefits.
By creating this standalone lighting system in the IntelliVibe system, it enables our dealers to really address a broader audience. It helps pool pros by removing a big adoption barrier, making these new lights a much easier sell, especially for simple pools which typically don’t have a full-fledged automation system.
Question: Why should homeowners be excited that they have the opportunity to add IntelliVibe lighting to their own pools?
Reid: This lighting system provides a customized experience. Lighting is kind of the emotion of the pool. It’s that cool “wow” factor. IntelliVibe allows you to customize and choose from millions of colors. There are 12 cool light shows that pool owners can control from the Pentair Pool app right on their phone. It just takes the pool ownership experience up a notch, and with millions of color options and dimmability, pool owners can really allow their pool lighting to reflect any mood they can imagine. It’s really amazing!
