He has over 20 years of experience in developing and managing automation and IoT based products, solutions and services for residential, commercial and industrial applications. His experience spans strategy and innovation, new product development, business development, commercialization, product and program management, R&D, team leadership and globalization. Before joining Pentair, Rama held various leadership roles at Ingersoll-Rand, Andersen and Honeywell. He holds 30 patents and served as technical editor for industrial standards, and technical publications and books. Rama received an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
