Automatic Pool Covers Inc., a manufacturer of automatic pool covers for new and existing swimming pools and spas, is celebrating its 40th business anniversary in 2019. To celebrate, the company held a party in late February to thank their employees and clients for getting the company to this big anniversary. “We wouldn’t be here today without our amazing employees and customers, to whom we are all very grateful,” says Michael Shebek, CEO of the company.
Automatic Pool Covers, Inc. opened its doors in 1979 as a small pool cover distributor. Michael Shebek worked side-by-side with his father, Mike Shebek Sr., putting in more than 20,000 hours of time installing and servicing covers. Michael Shebek took over as owner in 2000 and the company began manufacturing its first automatic pool covers in 2003. “There was a need in the market to create an automatic cover that was designed by installers for installers,” Shebek says.
Befitting the 40th anniversary, Automatic Pool Covers recently expanded its manufacturing and warehouse facilities due to “exponential growth the last couple of years [because] we’ve made the commitment to cutting-edge technology and manufacturing processes with a clear focus on excellent customer service.”
