Automatic Pool Covers, Inc., manufacturer of custom automatic pool covers for vinyl liner, fiberglass and gunite pools, added four additional engineers to its engineering department.
Lance Delp was hired as engineering manager. Delp has 25 years of experience in product design and manufacturing engineering. In previous roles, Delp led multiple capital investment projects that generated more than $100 million in revenue. He has experience in the automotive, lighting and transportation industries.
Sophie Lutes and Leonard Baker were added to the team as product design engineers. Lutes was hired after graduating with a mechanical engineering degree from Miami University in Ohio. Baker joined in 2020, bringing 30 years of experience in product design to the team after spending almost three decades with Wabash National: WNC, where he led several multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects and was granted over 20 patents. In addition, Jimmy Redstone joined the engineering team as engineering specialist after working in operations for five years.
