Magic Plastics Introduces Vibeproof Locking Union Technology

Magic Plastics has launched its patented Vibeproof Locking Union Technology, designed to reduce costly plumbing service calls by preventing union connections from loosening due to vibration.

The technology features a series of strategically placed scallops on the pump union nut and tailpiece. When the nut is hand-tightened, these scallops engage to lock the union in place, preventing it from backing out during equipment operation.

The Vibeproof locking feature is available in several Magic Plastics products, including pump unions, Smart Check valves, uni-body valves and high-heat union assemblies. Products are manufactured from PVC or ABS, meet all ASTM standards and plumbing requirements, are made in the U.S. and are available in 1-, 1.5-, 2-, 2.5- and 3-inch IPS sizes.
