Pentair Pool Recognizes 2025 Lifetime Achievement Pool Pro Award Winners
Pentair Pool has announced the recipients of its 2025 Lifetime Achievement Pool Pro Awards, recognizing industry professionals for long-term leadership, service and contributions to the aquatics industry.
The recognitions are part of Pentair’s annual awards program, which highlights professionals who promote safety, innovation and industry development.
Lifetime Achievement Award Winner: Shannon Jones
Owner, Graves Pools and Spas | Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Shannon Jones, owner of Graves Pools and Spas in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was recognized for her leadership of the family-run business and her decades of service to the industry. The company is celebrating its 50th anniversary, continuing the legacy started by Jones’ grandfather.
Jones said a personal mission statement early in her career guides her leadership approach.
“The more I take care of them,” she says of her team, “the more they feel fulfilled, and the more they care for others.”
Many members of the company’s management team have been with the business for over 15 years, which Jones attributes to a culture focused on employee support and accountability.
Beyond business operations, Graves Pools and Spas supports swim education programs at three local YMCA chapters by providing equipment and services and hosting swim lessons.
“If we save one child from drowning,” she says, “it would be worth everything we give.”
Jones said she is also focused on adopting emerging technologies such as automation and artificial intelligence to support customers and the future growth of the business.
“Our opportunities are limitless,” she says. “And the more we grow, the more positive differences we get to make. I’m honored to be recognized with this award, but having the ability to make a difference in the world through my company, I’ve already won big time.”
Lifetime Achievement Award Winner: Sean Johnson
Executive vice president of field services, Amenity Pool Services | New York City, New York
Sean Johnson, executive vice president of field services at Amenity Pool Services in New York City, was also recognized with a 2025 Lifetime Achievement Pool Pro Award.
Johnson began his aquatics career after learning to swim as a teenager and later entering the lifeguarding field. He eventually moved into management roles and was leading an office by 20.
During his career with The Amenity Collective, Johnson has helped with the growth of its aquatics brands, including American Pool and Amenity Pool Services, while mentoring field teams and supporting operational development across the organization.
Under his leadership, the company’s New York office expanded from 40 commercial clients to over 300 while maintaining high customer retention rates.
Johnson also led an initiative to automate pools across Erickson Senior Living properties, traveling extensively to install systems and support facility teams.
“It was one of the few things I got exactly right in my life,” he says, laughing. “I made real personal friends along the way.”
Outside the industry, Johnson volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and serves on his local high school’s board.
“I’ve worked in this business my whole life,” Johnson says. “To be recognized like this, … it means everything to me. I hope it shows young people that the pool industry is a real career — something you can grow in, lead in and truly be proud of. And beyond that, it’s just plain fun.”
