Plungie, an Australian-based manufacturer of precast monolithic pools, has launched in North America, starting operations in Dallas, Texas.
Donovan Shanahan, an industry veteran, will join Chris Macaulay as the leaders of the operation from the outset. Spending the last decade with the Pool | Spa | Patio Expo serving the industry in sales and creative marketing, Shanahan will now head up dealer development and customer service for Plungie. Chris Macaulay comes to Plungie as the general manager, with strategic plans for growth and expansion. Most recently, Macaulay was co-founder of Advvy, a media agency workflow solutions company.
