Polaris, a top brand in automatic pool cleaning, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
A division of Fluidra, Polaris, which is credited with inventing the first automatic pool cleaner, introduced the pressure-side cleaner to the market in 1973. Since then, Polaris continues to focus on developing smarter solutions that deliver more effective and efficient cleaning in every category — robotic, suction and pressure.
As a trusted brand, Polaris develops many innovative products for its robotic pool cleaner lineup. Some of these technologies include remote-operated cleaners, app-enabled control and a SMART Cycle cleaning mode that allows the cleaner to optimize its patterns for a pool’s shape, size and surface material. Last year, the brand launched its first commercial robotic cleaner line, the VORTRAX series, designed with cutting-edge cleaning capabilities to cater to the demands of high-use pools.
