In July, David Collier joined POOLCORP as the vice president of operations and supply chain, reporting directly to POOLCORP president and CEO, Pete Arvan. Collier will take over sourcing and will be responsible for leading the operations and logistics teams, as well as the CSLs.
Collier comes to POOLCORP from Arrow Electronics, a $30 billion international distributor of electronic components, where he was global vice president for supply chain, global operations and services. His tenure there resulted in multiple year-over-year records in service improvement and cost reductions through investments in people, processes and innovation.
