International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo 2025 Draws Global Audience and Showcases Industry Innovation
The International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo brought together professionals from over 40 countries for three days of education, networking and product innovation, highlighting new technologies shaping the pool, spa and outdoor living industries.
The event, sponsored by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, featured more than 100 product categories, including advanced pool cleaning systems, cordless robotic vacuums, water-treatment solutions, premium safety coverings and next-generation filtration technology. Exhibitors also showcased design-driven products such as LED lighting, decorative fountains and smart automation systems.
Keynote sessions covered topics including market growth, leadership and operational strategy. Speakers included Sabeena Hickman, PHTA president and CEO; Scott Hackworth, president of Industry Insights; and industry professionals Joshua Buzzell, Ed Gibbs, Michael Moore and Bruce Mungiguerra. Former NFL player Darren Woodson delivered a keynote on resilience and performance, while Heather Whelpley headlined the “Power of Grounded Confidence” session, hosted by Women of Water, PHTA and POOLCORP.
The expo also hosted PHTA and GENESIS certification programs, offering courses in pool construction, design and service.

Kirk Bianchi of Bianchi Designs earned first place in the Million Dollar Pool Design Challenge for a luxury pool concept that blended seamlessly with a natural home environment.
