We started A Buck A Pool many years back and to date have probably donated $12,000 for swim lessons and lifeguard certification. Here is how it works: We take a dollar a month for every pool that we service and put it into a virtual pot. At the end of the year we donate that money to a local organization that provides swim lessons, lifeguard certification and runs high school clubs that educate elementary through eighth grade children about water safety.
