If outside groundwater pressure exceeds internal pressure, Thursday Pools’ patented Geo-Hydro Valve will open and allow groundwater to enter the pool through a filter (preventing debris that often causes standard hydrostatic valves to get stuck open). This process allows the pressure to equalize, preventing a dangerous floating pool situation. Located on the lower pool sidewall, the valve is accessible from the ground level, making it much easier and safer to maintain than standard hydrostatic valves.
