AquaPlanet Launches Following Acquisition of Advantage Manufacturing Assets

AquaPlanet

AquaPlanet has launched as a manufacturer of water-management products serving the pool, spa, pond and specialty water markets following its acquisition of selected assets from Advantage Manufacturing.

Headquartered in Santa Ana, California, the company will build on the legacy of products and brands developed by Advantage Manufacturing while expanding engineering, manufacturing and product-development resources.

The new company will continue supporting several established product lines, including Port-a-Vac portable deck vacuum pumps and service carts, EnergyAdvantage pumps and filtration products, EvolutionPond water feature products and FireBoss emergency water-transfer and fire-prevention pumps.

According to AquaPlanet, existing customer support, manufacturing capabilities and technical resources will remain in place, and the company has retained experienced team members to ensure continuity for customers and distribution partners.

“AquaPlanet represents more than a new company — it represents our commitment to shaping the future of water-management products and solutions,” says Lyann Courant, president of AquaPlanet. “By combining proven products with expanded engineering, manufacturing and innovation resources, we are creating a platform for growth that will benefit our customers, partners and the industry for years to come.”

The company traces its roots to Advantage Manufacturing, founded more than 30 years ago by industry entrepreneur Mike Collins. AquaPlanet says it plans to continue supporting the acquired brands while investing in new technologies and expanded capabilities.

AquaPlanet operates as an independent company and notes that it acquired selected assets, brands, intellectual property and product lines from Advantage Manufacturing but did not assume the company’s liabilities or obligations.
