Aquatic Leisure Technologies to Open Fiberglass Pool Manufacturing Plant in Alabama

Aquatic Leisure Technologies Group, one of Australia’s largest fiberglass pool manufacturers, is establishing its first U.S. production facility in Opp, Alabama, the company announced.

The 56,000-square-foot facility, located on a 22-acre site, will serve as the U.S. manufacturing base for the company’s Aqua Technics Pools brand, helping shorten delivery times and support its growing dealer network.

The plant will produce fiberglass pools using Aquatic Leisure Technologies’ proprietary manufacturing technologies, including PoolColourGuard and Graphene Nano-Tech. Commissioning has begun, with initial production expected in early 2026. Australian specialists will assist with startup to ensure consistency with its global standards.
