Big Blue Swim School to Open Escondido Location
Big Blue Swim School announced plans to open a new location in Escondido in May 2026, expanding its presence in Southern California.
The facility will be operated by a local ownership group; it marks the company’s sixth location in the region and more than 50th nationwide. The new school will offer swim instruction based on a curriculum developed by Olympian Tom Dolan and former world record holder Chris DeJong.
“Families in Escondido deserve a swim school that feels welcoming, consistent and truly focused on each child,” says Victoria Pitts, manager of the Escondido location.
The indoor facility will provide year-round swim lessons in heated pools. Programs are structured across four skill levels, with class sizes and instruction designed to support individualized learning.
