Float Like A Duck Receives 2025 Step Into Swim Grant

Float Like A Duck, a water safety initiative presented by Paragon Pools in Las Vegas, received an $8,000 grant from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance Step Into Swim initiative. All of the grant funds will be used to provide free swimming lessons for at-risk youth in the Las Vegas community in collaboration with the UNLV Student Recreation and Wellness Center and the city of Las Vegas aquatics division.

The Las Vegas aquatics division will receive $5,000, and $3,000 will go to UNLV aquatics. To date, Paragon Pools’ grant program has distributed over $42,000 throughout the Las Vegas community to provide free swimming lessons and free lifeguard training, resulting in registering close to 2,000 people in the programs.
