Fluidra Continues Support of Step Into Swim With $100,000 Donation
Fluidra, a leading provider and global leader in residential and commercial pool and wellness equipment and connected solutions, is proud to announce its continued partnership with Step Into Swim, an initiative of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance committed to promoting the importance of water safety and creating more swimmers.
Fluidra presented the donation at the Northeast Spa and Pool Association’s Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City, New Jersey, for the fifth consecutive year.

“Fluidra has been an amazing partner to Step Into Swim for the past five years, and their generosity has had a life-changing positive impact on literally thousands of children who now know how to be safe in and around water,” says three-time Olympic gold medalist Rowdy Gaines, PHTA vice president of partnerships and development, who leads the Step Into Swim initiative. “Step Into Swim is thrilled to begin our 2026 fundraising with this incredible donation from Fluidra, which will allow us to fund learn-to-swim programs across the country and fulfill our mission to save lives.”
Fluidra’s $100,000 contribution to Step Into Swim will provide funding for learn-to-swim programs in underserved communities and more vulnerable populations. It also supports the company’s commitment to provide the perfect pool and wellness experience for all by helping make swim lessons and water safety instruction more accessible.
“Ensuring children have the skills to be safe and confident around water is a responsibility that extends beyond the pool,” says Jon Viner, president of Fluidra North America. “Through our support of Step Into Swim, we’re helping broaden access to swim education that can truly change — and save — lives.”In 2025, Step Into Swim raised over $1.5 million, which was matched by the PHTA board of directors for a total of over $3 million. More than 250 programs received Step Into Swim grants across 43 U.S. states, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada and Grand Cayman. The 2025 grants provided 180,000 swim lessons for nearly 20,000 children.
Since its inception in 2012, the Step Into Swim initiative has gifted more than 500,000 swim lessons through YMCAs, Jewish Community Centers, Boys and Girls Clubs and more. The program is funded through partner contributions, which are integral for advancing the mission. Every dollar donated goes directly to learn-to-swim programming.
