Tim Bower, CAE, has joined The Northeast Spa & Pool Association and will lead the member and chapter services team. With 25 years of experience in all aspects of association management, Bower is skilled in executive leadership, membership development and member retention.
Bower is a past president of the Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives and received the MASAE Distinguished Service Award in 2019. He continues to serve on MASAE committees.
He is also an active member of the American Society of Association Executives, and achieved the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation through ASAE in January 2009 and was recertified in January 2020.
“Enhancing member experiences and growing member connections has been the focus of my professional career,” Bower says. “NESPA knows the pool and spa industry, and I’m looking forward to getting to know NESPA’s members.”
Al Guzman and Jessica Swal will join Bower on the member and chapter services team.
With over two decades of working at NESPA in various roles, Guzman is one of the most recognized members of the NESPA staff. In addition to being NESPA’s resident photographer, Guzman is the organization’s IT director, regularly assisting members with website and registration systems. Guzman has long served as a staff liaison to NESPA’s membership committees, helping our volunteer leaders connect with new and prospective members.
Swal joined the NESPA staff in the fall of 2021 and quickly became a key player. She has various professional experience in customer service and holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Rider University. During her Bowere at NESPA, she has jumped feet first into any task sent her way and is looking forward to working with our members to make sure they are maximizing their NESPA benefits.
