Homeowners with an Amazon Echo device can now use it to control their pool through Hayward’s OmniLogic. Once installed, a user would simply give a command, such as “Alexa, ask Hayward to turn on my backyard lights,” to operate.
“Pool owners today are seeking the ultimate in convenience and Alexa is the perfect complement to an OmniLogic system,” says Dave MacNair, Hayward’s vice president of marketing. “Amazon Alexa devices are easy to set up, and using them has become second nature in many households. We believe that many OmniLogic customers will appreciate integrating pool control with their smart home system.”
