PHTA Now Accepting Applications For 2025 Greg Garrett Scholarship Award
The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Greg Garrett Scholarship Award. This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to two PHTA members in the builder or service sector to use for PHTA education or certification.
The scholarship recognizes individuals who show an extraordinary desire to further their career through education. The $5,000 may be used toward PHTA and GENESIS courses as well as associated certification fees. Periodic Products Inc. is again sponsoring one of the two scholarships.
The scholarship was developed by the PHTA Recreational Water Quality & Air Quality Committee in memory of former member Greg Garrett, who dedicated 45 years to the pool and hot tub industry and served in many leadership roles. He held the highest honor within PHTA as an Industry Fellow and was an enthusiastic advocate for education and standards.Â
To be considered for the scholarship, an online application form must be submitted by Aug. 8. PHTA members can self-nominate or nominate a fellow member. For more information or to apply, visit phta.org/garrett-award.
