Valley Pool & Spa opens ninth store

In November, Valley Pool & Spa, an operating division of Leslie’s Pool, opened its ninth store in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area. Located in Cranberry Township, the new store is Valley’s first location in Butler County, and the fourth store the company has opened in as many years.

As an award-winning staple in Pittsburgh and within the pool and spa industry since 1967, Valley’s original location is still operating and thriving on Route 30 in North Versailles. Corinne Kraft purchased the business from her grandparents in 1987, and continues to oversee and lead Valley as a senior vice president for Leslie’s and Valley. “The team of passionate, well-educated and dedicated employees is what gives Valley the edge of continued growth, allowing the business to expand for its loyal customer base,” Kraft says. Valley will now expand to over 75 full-time employees.

“Our employees are real experts in the field, and we love to share our knowledge with pool and spa owners,” says Eric Cassidy, vice president of sales and operations for Valley. “The new Cranberry Township store will allow us to enter a portion of Western Pennsylvania that our customers have wanted us to be in for years, and this will also allow us to extend our reach into the northern market along I-79 and the PA turnpike towards Beaver County. Our team can’t wait to meet new faces and help them with their pool or spa ownership.”

The new store will be the first of Valley’s new leisure concept store layouts, by adding Finnleo Saunas and Broil King Grills to product offerings. “Although above-ground pools, hot tubs, swim spas, water-treatment products and pool supplies are the core of our business, we’re really excited to continue focusing on the growth of health and wellness products like saunas, and backyard lifestyle products like grills,” Cassidy says.
