In additon to forward and reverse, SmartMotion includes water-load sensing damage control, which senses when the cover is open or closed and immediately shuts off power to the motor to prevent mechanical damage due to user error. SmartMotion allows Automatic Pool Covers, Inc. to provide industry leading 5-year warranty on ropes for its covers when purchased as a new system. SmartMotion is available with specific systems for vinyl liner and fiberglass pools.
