Jordan Snyder’s path through the pool industry has touched nearly every corner of the business — retail, service and repair. He’s held roles as service manager, area manager and retail store manager for leading organizations, experiences that helped him sharpen his skills and gain a 360-degree view of the trade. Then came his next big leap: founding his own company, All Around Pool Services.
For Snyder, the best part of the pool industry is its constant evolution. “There’s always new technology coming out and an opportunity for continuous learning,” he says. That passion for fine-tuning his craft has been a driving force in his career. One highlight was joining a company with 300 pools and contributing to its hyper-growth to more than 1,000 accounts — momentum that ultimately led to an acquisition.
Like many in Florida, Snyder has also faced the unpredictable forces of nature. During Hurricane Helene, a storm surge filled many of his clients’ pools with seaweed, sand and debris. While the region struggled with widespread cleanup, Snyder restored pools so homeowners could focus on their families and properties. It was one of those moments that underscored how essential pool professionals can be to recovery and daily life.
Snyder’s long-term goal is to continue growing All Around Pool Services to create opportunities for his team. He wants his employees to have the same chance to learn and advance in the industry he did. He’s committed to work-life balance, making sure the company always closes on major holidays so families can enjoy that time together.
If given the chance to change one thing about the industry, Snyder would focus on the commercial sector. “After cleaning pools and understanding proper chemistry, you realize some commercial properties are not up to the standards they should be,” he says, noting that stronger regulation could help elevate safety and consistency across the board.
When he’s not working, Snyder can usually be found enjoying the same water he maintains during the week — lounging in pools, relaxing at the beach or fishing with his toes in the sand — “Margaritaville-style,” he says.
