Jessica Werner joined Clear Comfort as an intern before completing her studies at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Over five years later, she remains an integral part of the company’s success. Her role has evolved from a marketing intern to a marketing associate, inside sales representative and account manager, culminating in her current position as the western regional sales manager for the U.S. and Canada.

What Werner cherishes most about the pool industry is the people who populate it and bring a sense of community. She especially loves how people take care of one another.

Werner hopes to one day manage her own team. She is eager to learn from mentors, colleagues and friends within the industry, recognizing the abundance of opportunities for professional advancement.

She also aspires to see more women in the field.

“In my five years, I have seen amazing growth in the number of women entering the industry already, and I am excited to see how much it will continue to grow,” she says.

Werner is often inspired by other women in the industry, including one she classifies as her mentor — Arin McNemar, Clear Comfort’s vice president of sales.

“Arin is a huge reason why I have worked at Clear Comfort for five years and plan to stay,” she says. “She is an incredible woman who has played many different roles in the industry. She is confident, down to earth, an incredible saleswoman and a fantastic leader. She continues to inspire me with her accomplishments both in the industry and at Clear Comfort.”
