PHTA WAVE Young Professionals Network Event
Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m.

For pool and hot tub professionals under age 40, WAVE checks off both the ‘mingle’ and ‘strategize’ boxes for the up-and-coming pool and hot tub generation. Admission includes select alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and appetizers. Space is limited, so registration is recommended.
GENESIS 20th Annual Family Reunion and Winemaker Dinner
Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m.
Tickets: $195 (advance registration required)
Arnaud’s, 813 Bienville Street, New Orleans
Attendees will dine at one of the oldest family-operated restaurants in the country and mingle with fellow GENESIS students, sponsors, faculty and industry personnel. Wine from Rombauer Vineyards will be served, as well as a four-course meal prepared by chef de cuisine Tommy DiGiovanni.

The 10 Keys to Service Department Success
Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
Attendees will learn tips from industry veterans who will share how they have dramatically grown their service department. Gohlke Custom Pools will share the 10 keys that have had the biggest influence on their success. This information should be helpful for those wanting to grow, or at least reach their full potential, their service department. This session is presented at all levels — beginner, intermediate and advanced.
Intermediate Water Chemistry & Testing
Thursday, Nov. 7, from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
A more in-depth seminar on the various parameters involved with proper chemistry and water balance in pools and spas. Topics include water balance, sanitation/oxidation, treatment applications, testing techniques and more. Designed for those with a basic knowledge and understanding of pool/spa water chemistry. Wayne Ivusich, manager of education and technical services at Taylor Technologies, Inc., will present this intermediate session.
