NDPA Launches ‘Commitment to Safer Waters’ Seal Program

NDPA

The National Drowning Prevention Alliance has introduced its “Commitment to Safer Waters” Seal Program, designed to publicly recognize companies and organizations in the pool, spa and aquatic safety industries that demonstrate meaningful action toward drowning prevention and water safety awareness.

Drowning remains the leading cause of death for children ages 1-4. The program aligns with the NDPA’s underlying framework of the “Five Layers of Protection”: barriers and alarms, supervision, water competency, lifejackets and emergency preparation.

Participants select from different levels of commitment depending on their role and reach in the industry. Benefits include digital recognition, official use of the Seal logo, promotional placement and, for Platinum-level holders, exclusivity in their industry category.

Pool and spa builders, service companies, equipment manufacturers, learn-to-swim providers and other aquatic professionals are invited to apply. Review of applications may take up to 45 days, and once approved, participants receive a welcome packet and program materials.
