Pentair Pool Raises Over $80,000 through Polar Plunge Events Supporting Special Olympics

Pentair Pool raised over $80,000 through participation in Special Olympics polar plunge events held across Florida, Minnesota and North Carolina.

Nearly 80 Pentair employees, executives and family members took part in the fundraising effort, which supports local Special Olympics delegations. The funds will help athletes travel to compete in the Special Olympics held June 20-26 in Minneapolis.

Pentair Pool is serving as the official swimming sponsor of the 2026 Special Olympics. The company said participation in its polar plunge initiative increased significantly year over year.

“Supporting the Special Olympics USA Games is a natural extension of who we are at Pentair Pool,” says Jerome Pedretti, executive vice president and CEO of Pentair Pool. “Swimming brings people together, builds confidence and creates opportunity.”

As part of its sponsorship, Pentair Pool will support swimming competitions, raise awareness and engage employees through volunteer opportunities leading up to and during the Games.
