Pool Brain Appoints Eric Knight as Head of Education Technology
Pool Brain has hired industry veteran Eric Knight as its new head of education technology, a move the company says will support the development of new training resources and software tools for pool service professionals.
Knight joins Pool Brain after serving as executive director of Watershape University, where he led the expansion of accredited courses and helped develop new education programs, including an eight-hour water chemistry course. Before that, he held leadership roles at Orenda and HASA, where he created the Rule Your Pool podcast and led development of the Orenda Calculator.
“I’ve spent the majority of my career developing tools, courses, videos and podcasts designed to help pool professionals achieve greater success in the field,” Knight says. “Joining Pool Brain perfectly aligns with that mission. The foundation we built at Orenda has been taken to a completely new level by Pool Brain, which has been inspiring to see.”
In his new role, Knight will oversee initiatives related to automated water chemistry dosing, guided training workflows and interactive educational modules designed to support pool professionals using Pool Brain’s software.
