SafeSplash Earns NDPA Platinum Seal for Water Safety Efforts
SafeSplash Swim School has received the Platinum Seal from the National Drowning Prevention Alliance’s Commitment to Safer Waters program, becoming the only learn-to-swim provider to earn the designation.
The NDPA program recognizes organizations contributing to drowning prevention through education, programs and advocacy, with Platinum representing the highest level of recognition.
“Drowning remains one of the leading causes of accidental death for children, which makes access to high-quality swim instruction and water safety education critically important,” says Chris Harkness, president of SafeSplash Swim School.
SafeSplash said its recognition reflects its focus on structured swim instruction and safety education, including its S.A.F.E.R. Swimmer Promise program, which emphasizes foundational water safety skills such as floating, breathing and swimming to safety.
SafeSplash operates a nationwide network of swim schools and said it will continue to expand access to swim education and drowning prevention programs.
