For 2020, we’re expanding the ways we reach our readers
I can hardly believe that 2020 is upon us. 2019 was an eventful year, to say the least: As many of you know, I welcomed another daughter on October 10. I appreciate all the well-wishes that were sent my way and your graciousness as I care for an infant while running a business.
We’ve got big plans for our business this year, as I’m sure you do yours. You’ll find a greater emphasis on the commercial side of the industry in each issue this year, as well as an entire issue devoted to commercial in the summer. And, we’re launching a job board at PoolProMag.com/Jobs, a place where local pool companies, manufacturers and distributors can find industry talent. Knowing how tough it can be to find good help, we hope you take advantage. The more who use it, the more useful it will be to all.
This is always a big issue for us because it finds its way to so many events that are held in January and February. You’ll find copies at the Poolcorp Retail Summit, The Pool & Spa Show and National Plasterers Council Convention. I won’t be able to attend all of these events this year since a baby makes a poor trade show companion, but I hope you can make it — and take in the excellent education and networking these events provide.
