Leadership Transition Marks New Chapter for HornerXpress Worldwide

HornerXpress Worldwide is preparing for a leadership change as longtime vice president Linda Carroll retires at the end of the year, the company announced Monday.
Carroll, who has spent over 30 years with Team Horner, will step down Dec. 31. During her tenure, she helped lead the company’s export division through significant growth and earned national recognition, including the President’s “E Award” and “E Star Award” for excellence in exporting U.S. products. The awards are issued by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
“Linda’s legacy is woven into the very fabric of this company, and her impact will be felt for many years to come,” says Mike Dooley, president and chief operating officer of Team Horner Group. The company plans to induct Carroll into the Team Horner Hall of Fame in 2026.

Gretchen Knaebel-Ross, a longtime member of Team Horner, will become general manager of HornerXpress Worldwide following Carroll’s retirement. Knaebel-Ross joined the company in 1993 as a warehouse associate and has since held roles in customer service, sales, manufacturing operations and branch management.
Dooley says Knaebel-Ross’ “dedication, vision and deep understanding of our company’s operations and mission” make her well-suited to lead the export division.
