The Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code announced its Aquatic Venue Public Health Inspector Course is now available online in a live, interactive format.

The next session will be held Nov. 13 at 8:30 a.m. Central Time and led by CMAHC technical director Dewey Case. The eight-hour, instructor-led training equips public health and aquatics professionals with the knowledge and confidence to assess aquatic facilities using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Model Aquatic Health Code.

Participants will engage in real-world case studies, small-group discussions and practical exercises to strengthen their ability to inspect, regulate and manage aquatic venues safely and consistently. Upon completion, attendees will earn a CMAHC-backed certification.

The course is designed for public health inspectors; environmental health and regulatory professionals; and aquatics operators and safety leaders.
