FROG 4Pro Expands Drop ’n Go Pool Pod Line

King Technology Inc. has expanded its FROG 4Pro line with the launch of three Drop ’n Go pool pod products designed for service professionals.

The FROG 4Pro Drop ’n Go lineup includes FROG Algae Blocker 4Pro, FROG Clarifier 4Pro and FROG Phosphate Remover 4Pro. Each product comes in a premeasured, dry pod that is placed directly into a pool skimmer, where it dissolves within hours and treats water for extended periods, depending on the product.

Lighter than traditional liquid products, prefilled and compatible with all pool types, the pods are designed to simplify water treatment and reduce the need to transport liquid chemicals, King Technology says.

“We took every aspect of a pro’s job into account to create something so effective it saves time, boosts profits and makes water care much easier,” says Dan Longhenry, director of engineering at King Technology. “After years of research, information gathering and product testing, we landed on three pool pod products that immediately transform the typical day of a pool service professional and create more customer satisfaction and retention.”

FROG Algae Blocker 4Pro is an EPA-registered, dry, concentrated algaecide formulated to target green and yellow algae and help prevent black, yellow and green algae outbreaks for up to six months. It also includes stain inhibitors intended to protect pool surfaces.

FROG Clarifier 4Pro is designed to restore water clarity within hours, according to the company. King Technology recommends monthly use to help maintain clear water.

FROG Phosphate Remover 4Pro is formulated to remove phosphates and help prevent future buildup. It is intended for monthly application to help reduce clouding and maintain water clarity for up to 30 days.

FROG Algae Blocker 4Pro was the first product in the Drop ’n Go series to be released in 2024 and received the Most Innovative Product for Service Professionals Award at the 2024 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo.
