Help Us Serve You, and the Industry, Even Better

We’ve launched a huge renewal campaign for PoolPro — and I would greatly appreciate your participation. You can always pick up a free bimonthly copy of PoolPro at SCP Distributors and Superior Pool Products’ locations, but now you can also have a free subscription mailed directly to you — just fill out this form.

Additionally, having your most updated information helps us ensure we’re getting PoolPro into the hands of the people who want and need it most. Those details help us better understand our audience and their needs — which helps us determine what to write about, what programs to launch and helps our advertisers know who they are reaching. It will only take a couple of minutes, which is worth it to make sure you don’t miss an issue.

This issue of PoolPro won’t be hard to find though, as we’ll be taking it with us to a couple of events, including the Pool & Spa Show in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and the National Plasterers Council Conference in San Diego. As usual, there are so many industry events this time of year.

Speaking of plaster, we’ve dubbed this our first-ever plaster issue — devoted almost entirely to the installation and proper maintenance of a pool’s finish. Plasterers are typically the last ones to touch a pool before it’s filled, and plaster is the pool’s first line of defense. As such, the plaster and plasterer are often first to be blamed when something in the pool shell falters. That’s one of the reasons why I would encourage anyone to attend the NPC event in February, even if you are a builder or service company. Hearing what this group of skilled tradespeople need to get a pool off to the right start, and keep it in tip-top shape, can only improve your skills and the industry.
