Congratulations to everyone who was named one of our 2023 30 Under 40! We had more nominations and entries this year than ever before. If you didn’t make the list, don’t be deterred from trying again next year. I am always impressed with the stories, effort and passion of these young professionals — our industry has a bright future.
The only thing I don’t like about our 30 Under 40 program is that I can’t nominate people from my team. So, indulge me for a moment.
Brittany Alloway
Brittany has been with me since day one of owning PoolPro. Not only is she an excellent designer, but she is also an incredibly hard worker. No matter what I throw at her or how little time I give her, she never complains and always gets it done.
Bethany Branscum
Bethany is the newest member of our PoolPro family, and hiring her has been life-changing for me. I know that if I give her a task, it will get done and require no handholding from me. In fact, she is typically the one keeping me on track. I can’t wait for you all to meet her for the first time in Las Vegas.
Cherry Carpio
Cherry ensures all our content makes its way online. What I love about Cherry is that she takes the initiative to improve things and runs with it. She’s also gone out of her way to train herself in the programs we use and research social media trends.
Kaleigh Carroll
Kaleigh happens to be my second cousin, and nepotism is probably the only way we could have scored such a great copy editor (it’s a dying art), which is what she does for “The Seattle Times” as well. She turns things around quickly despite holding down her full-time gig.
Unfortunately, Megan Nicholson, our business development director, and I no longer qualify for 30 Under 40. But I have never met anyone as tenacious as Megan, and she somehow does it in a way that is kind and thoughtful. If your day needs a pick-me-up, give her a call.
