Jackson Scott, 27

Vice president

AquaBliss Pool Services

Deerfield Beach, Florida

At 17, Jackson Scott began as a pool tech assistant in his family’s company, AquaBliss Pool Services, founded by his father, Ken Scott. Over the years, he gained experience across nearly every aspect of the business, from residential service and repairs to commercial accounts, construction, finishing and start-ups. By 22, his dedication had earned him the title of vice president.

Scott takes pride in the variety and beauty of his work. “There is nothing quite like seeing the sunrise from a penthouse pool overlooking Miami Beach,” he says. Beyond the views, he finds fulfillment in building a strong team. “We have amazing employees committed to our premium service,” he notes.

Under his leadership, AquaBliss has grown by 200%, thanks in large part to the relationships he cultivated with hospitality and commercial real estate leaders. He has built partnerships with luxury hotels such as the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and Marriott, as well as municipalities throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Those professional relationships, he says, have been as important as technical skills in driving success.

One of the biggest challenges Scott has faced is employee training. “It was a struggle at first, but I have created SOPs, modernized our in-field training and implemented incentivized performance programs,” he says. He’s learned that supporting and investing in team development is key to building long-term stability.

Scott is focused on sustainable growth for AquaBliss. He also wants to continue strengthening the company’s legacy of excellence, a standard set when his father opened the business.

Scott is also motivated by drowning prevention. AquaBliss is active in community outreach and was instrumental in the creation of a Florida license plate dedicated to drowning prevention — an achievement Scott counts among the company’s most meaningful contributions.

When he isn’t leading AquaBliss, Scott can usually be found near the water in another way: boating, fishing or traveling. “Water is in my blood,” he says.
