  • Nick LaPointe, 37

    Nick LaPointe was practically born into the pool industry. His father purchased a pool route in 1990, a time when chlorine gas was still used to treat pools. LaPointe’s mother ran the company out of her home, and LaPointe would help in the summertime and began working on routes when he got his driver’s license. 

  • Molly Snyder, 28

    At 14, Molly Snyder took a job at The Pool Place in Abington, Massachusetts. Starting as a cashier, she quickly expanded her skills, moving on to water testing and working at the parts counter. In 2014, she left the industry to attend Sage College of Albany, where she earned a degree in marketing.

  • Robert Naranjo, 37

    With resolve and the support of his family, Robert Naranjo started Skimmers Pool Service. After years of hard work, the company now offers service, repair and construction to the Fort Bend County, Texas, area. Naranjo says his best advice for running a successful business are simply to be honest, dependable, responsive and consistent.
