While attending the University of Pittsburgh, Jordan Frabasilio spent much of his time playing Division 1 college baseball. Baseball helped get him into school, thanks to an athletic scholarship, and it was a far cry from the pool industry in which Jordan had grown up watching his father, Presidential Pools & Spas president James Frabasilio.
Though he didn’t end up making baseball his career, America’s favorite pastime did help Jordan excel in an area all his own and helped underscore the importance of working in a team and respecting every person’s role in that team. Still, the team he keeps returning to is the one he was born to be a part of: his family.
After some time working in construction, Jordan joined the family business as part of the service/construction and spa/patio furniture divisions before moving to sales. He says that time was invaluable: “The experience taught me so much about building pools. I am grateful for that opportunity, and it has made me a better salesperson.”
For him, however, it all comes back to family, and Jordan says working with his dad and brother is his favorite part of the job. “We work well together, and it is very important to me that we work hard and strive to be best at what we do,” Frabasilio says.
