Dustin Kauffman started at ProMinent in fall 2010. It was a winter job that would get him through until spring, at which point he’d return to his career as a PGA-certified golf professional. But he never left ProMinent.

Kauffman has moved through several positions: Pump sub-assembly, receiving clerk, front desk coordinator, customer support specialist, regional sales manager – aquatics, senior regional sales manager – aquatics and, finally, to national sales manager – aquatics. His colleagues say he will be the driving force behind doubling the company’s aquatics business over the next five years.

“I’ve received phenomenal mentoring and guidance on water chemistry, industry dynamics and business in general from Bob Kappel, Jim Tanner and Mike Weber,” Kauffman says. “I hope to continue to grow ProMinent presence within the commercial aquatics industry, but I also hope to help educate and raise the knowledge level of a standard pool operator. I want to help provide the safest quality aquatic environment possible for the swimmers.”
